 Introduction

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 8–10)

For the Meat Sauce:

Ground Beef 1 lb (450 g)
Italian Sausage ½ lb (225 g)
Onion 1 medium (chopped)
Garlic – 3 cloves 3 cloves (minced)
Tomato Sauce 2 cups
Tomato Paste 2 tbsp
Crushed Tomatoes 1 cup
Italian Seasoning 2 tsp
Salt & Pepper to taste

For the Cheese Mixture:

Items Names Quantity
Ricotta Cheese 15 oz (425 g)
Egg 1 large
Parmesan Cheese ½ cup (grated)
Mozzarella Cheese 2 cups (shredded)

For Assembly:

Lasagna Noodles 15 oz (425 g)
Extra Mozzarella For topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Meat Sauce

In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned.

Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.

Stir in tomato sauce, paste, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.


Step 2: Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan.

Mix well until smooth.


Step 3: Layer the Lasagna

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce.

Place lasagna noodles on top.

Spread cheese mixture, then meat sauce, then mozzarella.

Repeat layers until dish is full, ending with mozzarella on top.


Step 4: Bake the Lasagna

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and bake another 20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly


Step 5: Rest & Serve

Let lasagna rest for 10 minutes before cutting.

Serve hot with garlic bread and fresh salad.
